Welcome to Sweetwater Lavender Farm! We are thrilled to spend our morning with you and your family April 29th 9:00 - 1:00 CST (10:00 - 2:00 EST) For planning and supply purposes we will need you to purchase your reservation in advanced through this page.
$8 per person to participate.
Demonstration and hands-on stations for propagating lavender. Begins promptly at 9:15 CST (10:15 EST)
Kite building stations and kite flying in the field to follow lavender propagation demonstration
Our onsite Farm Store will be open to purchase a variety of unique lavender gifts and products.
Our Farm Heart Project, The Christopher Project and Christopher Friends, will be available to purchase. This project was set up in January 2022 to give comfort to Foster Care Children in our North Florida Region. We are currently helping 4 surrounding counties and hope to extend our reach but to do that we need help from partners like you.
Please bring a snack lunch to enjoy on the grounds. Restroom facilities on the farm are limited to one outdoors.
Please arrive at 9:00am CST. We will be closing at 1:00pm CST but that gives us plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors together.
All planting and kite supplies will be provided however you might want to bring garden gloves, sunscreen and boots if you have them. If you would like to bring bread to feed the fish in the front pond during lunch you are more than welcome to. Lastly moms, if you would like to sit down in the field while the kids are flying kites a camping chair might be great to throw in the back of the car with a big umbrella to shade yourself from the sun.
The farm is a working farm so we will have horses onsite, electric fencing and potholes in the ground. Please be careful. If walking gives you trouble there will be a place to sit to enjoy lunch in a shaded spot that will always be available if needed.
